This is a short short film that I worked on with some class mates. It took us a month (6 people, three CG artists and three animators) and we used TV-paint, AfterEffects and Photoshop. I animated and did some production management. It was a lot of fun and I'm quite pleased with our result.

I strained my hand in February this year and started working with my left. It was a lot of practice and there's still plenty of that to go. But in the end there came some pretty decent drawings from it.

I also practiced croquis with left hand. Painfully slow and shaky at first but they got steadily better.
These are my first ones. They are from March.

These next ones are from March/April. I played around with proportions and styles a bit with these ones.

I apologize for the coffee-splatter and wrinkles caused by them. There was an accident.

We worked with acrylic on paper with focus on coloring elements and lighting them.

First we copied a painting.

Long time no post! But fear not.
I'll post a mixture of stuff that I've made in this past year at the Animation Workshop's Character Animation line. Croquis, animation-frames, gesture drawings, a bit of concept and what not.

Please excuse the coffee-stains. There has been several coffee related accidents around here.

A school assignment in TV-paint that took around two-three days. Finished 8/1-14.  
It was part of our intro to TV-paint to choose a bird and make it fly, clean it up and color it. 

Getting started!

My name is Julie H. Baltzer and I'm an animation student at the Animation Workshop, Viborg, Denmark. I've been attending the class since August 2013 and we've worked with 2D animation and drawing for animation so far.
I'm just going to put up some of the animation exercises we've done so far and some gesture drawings and some random stuff from my sketchbook. I will start uploading as soon as possible!
